dinner
Tonight for dinner Dad and I found some good looking steaks at the grocery. With some salad and broccoli cooked up to go with it, it made the perfect Friday night dinner. First the salad:
I used iceberg at Dad's request and cut it into wedges. They dressed their wedges with caesar dressing and bacon, but with mine I used an Asian ginger dressing - yum! Next there was the steak itself. I made them tuscan style, meaning there was garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice involved. I had this type of steak once at Craig and John's house, and since I made it myself at home it has become one of the steak favorites around our house. It's simple and flavorful, what more could you want? The broccoli was steamed with rosemary.
For dessert I had made new batch of that cherry ice cream from before, but this time I didn't add chocolate because I had lots of cherries. It was good.
